My retarded computer wont play movies properly...

I have one .wmv video that will play, but at certain times it freezes and says "Invalid or corrupt data was encountered" and some other stuff..

The other one is a Quicktime video, the teaser thing off Pinkbike...it gets to 15 seconds and my whole computer freezes.

Someone help me!

update your players, and get some thing like the 'ultimate codec' off Kazaa for your windows movie player. people code movies differently and you need the right codec to decode them. yowzer.

Sound like you have a problem, I would suggest that to reinstall windows media player and quick time see what happens then, I would think that this wont do much but give it a try. If the same thing happens it’s probably a bigger problem try reinstall/updating you video/sound drivers.

Try that 'ultimate codec' thing before you reinstall you drivers.

NEW PUTER man it's obviously slow as if movies make it freeze .. try some codecs first but i suggest a new puter.
