Picked up this Trek 8000 LT off my mate, who bought it from another mate who bought it off eBay. It was a good start to mountain biking, gave me the chance to make some repairs as the BB was done in.

Got a BB and XT Crankset off eBay, some Deore Vs to replace the busted disc brakes, took the rotors off and bought a cheap fork off eBay that could take a V brake.
Now that I have a new frame, I've pulled some parts off this and will be rebuilding it up to hand down to my brother in law who is keen to have a go at mountain biking too.
I'll post some photos of that build as it progresses.
