Need advice on roll in

Hi everyone,

I have built some jumps in my backyard but I now need to build a roll in so I can get adequate speed to clear the first jump. Given limited space to work with, its prob only 8 to 10 meters from the start to the first jump.

I was thinking of building a roll in say around 3m high. But Im not sure what type of slope I should do on the ramp part. What would provide the most speed, a 45deg angle or a steeper angle like a quarter type?

Cheers

Speed is provided by height so that's the big factor to consider, slope has minimal impact on this. As mentioned, shape will affect pump though.

3m high, 150*150 Cyprus post and ply to create a rolled edge drop in. Although also considering replicating the start ramp at the you Yang's.

I look forward to seeing some pics.
