Need Help!

Hey guys and gals, I'm new to this form and I'm thinking about trying dirt jumping for a change. I am looking for something in the $600 or lower range. I don't know that much about dirt jumping bikes and would like your guys help to pick one out. My friend has a really nice trek ticket that he will sell me for $600, which I'm really considering. I am also really digging this bike on Ebay, but don't know if its a good deal or a good bike. Please help. :lol:

Thanks guys, that's what I was leaning towards anyways. My friends are trying to get me into cross country racing but I'm still indecisive. The best things about the trek is that it will take a beating, only $600, and mint condition. The 29er I don't think will be my style. :decision:
