Needle in the eye (needle bearing shock eyelet bushings)

I must have 5-6000kms on RWC bearings across three different bikes. No issues, I just checked they were clean and rotated them every service to ensure they didn't wear the races oval.

I put some RWC needels bearings on the TRc. Thye worked fine but another option is the heavy duty shock bushing from TFtuned. There are bugger all moving parts and after a hell of long time, I look like I will need to finally replace the rubber sealing ring. Other than that, I have no play and still moves smoothly. They make them in a quite a few shapes and sizes.

Those TFtuned ones appear to be a polymer DU bush and steel hardware similar to what is sold here

I’ve been running those with Rockshox 3 piece hardware and they’ve been faultless. They don’t develop wear like the coated steel DU bushes and feel smoother. Might not be quite as smooth as roller bearing though.

Yes, looks to be the same sort of thing. A good upgrade and easy enough to do - jsut don't get heavy handed and squish it.
I won't go back to steel DU's either.
