Hey all i'm a bit bundled at the minute in which way to go i'm going to build up a new DH bike and had my mind set on a Turnder DHR. But now have seen the Nicolai Lambda ST. Someone please help me with positive and negative feedback for each frame. As soon as it is decided the build will begin.

Is it worth spending that much coin on a frame? Complete bikes are such good value and either option is going to be just as flogged out after a year of hammering.

would but i hate the look of yetis but thanks for the idea
Interesting? What do you hate? If it is the colour, dont worry, cause you wont get one in team colours anyway.

Is performance a factor?
Maybe you could give more info on you riding style and whats important to you in a bike. As well as where you ride.

I don't like the linkage setup to many pivot points, more shit that can break. I have a da bomb proj and with all the pivots it just makes for more headaches. I live and ride in Newman WA pretty harsh country everything is iron ore and hard as shit. Heres some pics of a regular trail one of the easier one up here(theres only two) Important to me in a bike is reliability cos i have to do all my own mantainance. So less wear and tear is better for me. All I want is a top quality reliable DH bike that will take the punishment the pilbara and myself will give it..

Here are the pics....

Sounds to me you want something like an orange 22#. Not the best performance(imho and physically speaking) but will do the job and should last you a while.
