I commute to work daily at the moment (a mix of road and bike path) on a flat bar roadie. I'm moving to Qld next year and will have a commute on a mix of dirt road, single track and a stretch of road. I'm looking to spend around $1000 - $1250 and move to a mountain bike, to cope with the mix of surfaces. At the moment I'm tossing up between Giant Talon 0 and Avanti Aggressor, but have just come across this:

Although everything I've been looking at so far has been 29er, the componentry on this bike either surpasses or matches the other bikes. Is anyone out there riding one of these Cell bikes? Any reason it wouldn't cope with my intended use?
