New rear shock!

What would happen if I used a shock that was 7.25ins 1.75ins to replace my 6.5ins 1.5ins shock?

You would create a blackhole that would engulf the world.
Best not to stuff with the stroke length of shocks in frames, otherwise you will not be getting the best from your bike/suspension.

Might need a big hammer to bend the linkages to make it fit, but so long as you hit everything really hard it should work. The bike geometry might feel a bit weird. Probably shouldn't ride the bike anymore afterwards.

im just trying to find a RockShox Monarch XX 6.5x1.5 but cannot find any in stock, its pissing me off! I hate when things arent in stock, especially since they released them like less than a year ago!
