NSWMTB, Manly Warringah MTB
Following the last meeting of the NSWMTB, the new co-ordinators for each discipline were persuaded to stand and for XC it is yours truely (known in the real world as Hamish Mackie) and I am lucky enough to have the assistance of:
The job of the state XC committee is basically to organise the state XC series and ensure that it is run as smoothly as possible and also to try and get as many riders as possible to the events. We are at present working out the clubs and dates for next year's series and hope to have them published in the next few weeks or so.
We are also planning a summer short track series around the Sydney area. These races will be similar to the one's held by MWMTB at St Ives but will be at a different location every month and they will work on a heat, semi and final type of system so if you are good enough you can race 3 times.
So that is who we are and what we are doing and if you would like to offer your assistance in the areas of graphic design for the series posters or marketing to help with advertising the series we would love to hear from you.
