New Yeti Prototypes

Hi all,
So i was watching one of the podcasts that Yeti has and i saw a section where a factory test rider was riding a prototype yeti, the podcast didnt say anything about the new bike but i found a few pictures on the web of two different bikes and i was wondering if anyone knew more about them.

The second one is an old prototype. End of '07, early '08 I believe.

It was heavy and only offered 7" of travel, and Yeti decided to ditch it.

agreeing that the 2nd one looks like some one doodles on a peace of paper and added a shock in it when they were designing it.

I think it looks weird how the rail is directly under the seat tube, it looks kinda flimsy, but thats just me probably.

I love it. When it gets a real paintjob it will look slick
