Pretty much! Being a Taiwanese company, at least they are sticking to what they are good at! I don't think M@DMIKE appreciates the impact of $5 USD on the construction of a frame. At that base level of the bikes assembly every cent seems to have an exponential effect on the total price of the frame. A good case in point is EASTON RAD tubing. Taiwanese companies can get this triple butted goodness for approx $50 USD (note my info is a couple of years old) for all 3 tubes (Seat Tube, Top Tube, Down Tube). Considering that they have to buy tubing anyway the difference is often only $20 USD. Yet how many frames do you see using it?? It's a strong selling point but virtually all frames nowadays have there own branded tubing (read Taiwanese tubing).Bodin said:...so they found a different design to copy this time.
