NS Supermoto Stem

Hi,
I am looking for a new stem for my bike and the NS Supermoto has caught my eye. I have an Ironhorse Yakuza, pretty downhill specced. But I am running a Hussefelt stem in which I want to upgrade. The NS stem is 40mm long and Im not sure if this will be to short for DH. Im buying over the net so I can't really have a look at one apart from pictures. I just need some opinions on them.

if your doing manly downhill i would get the NS quarette (sp) but thats just my opion

Do you mean the Quark? If not I havent seen the one your talking about but Ill have a look. The Supermoto looked pretty stocky and strong, why do you think I should go with the other kind?
