HMBA, in conjunction with our event sponsor Peter Evans and Associates Solicitors and Attorneys, are hosting the final round of the inaugural 2012 NSW All Mountain series at Paterson NSW on October 21st. Utilising much of the awesome downhill sections from the Paterson 24 Hour race, this race will feature a 3KM ride starting from the “Strava” section and finishing at the ”bottom”, with an expected ride time of 9-11 minutes per run. We'll be shuttling all riders from the event area to the race start area at the top of the hill, so regardless of your current fitness level you can bomb from top to bottom then relax in air conditioned comfort on your way back up for your next run. All ASA approved helmets, both open and closed faced, are perfectly acceptable for this race.

With a fresh track that is in fantastic condition, not only do we expect the best Super D specialists in the state to be here, this race replaces the planned October 21st HMBA XC and DH racing in October and will count towards the season point scores for HMBA members.

Note: There will be no club race at Awaba on October 21st.

We will have a link up on the HMBA website shortly so that people can register for the race ahead of time. This will allow us to try to plan enough shuttle transport for all who attend. Entries will be $35 per rider (including race and bus fees) and $20 for a day license if you do not have a current MTBA membership. We will have first aid and a toilet on site. At this stage the event won't be catered so please bring your own lunch and drinks. If you happen to forget, there are options for both only 5 minutes away in Paterson. Registrations on the day will open at 8am with shuttled practice starting at 9am, and depending on numbers racing commencing at 12pm.

It doesn't matter if you ride an 8 inch DH monster, a 6 inch trail bike, or a fully rigid XC machine, this track plays no favourites to anyone. It's a new kind of race for HMBA, so come along and give it a go.
