Possibly a step-down... but the fact that the larger, upper portion is almost three times the width says to me that the direction flows as a step-up, so the tolerance for mistakes isn't as tight.

That said, I'm sure people will try it in both directions...

Boy, it would suck though, to ride off the top (of the wide portion) and to have your front wheel miss the landing by inches... run that image through your mind...

It's a step-up, they got something similar to it on North Shore X6.
That's just getting silly if that guys 6' tall and that structure just towers over him!
