Ourimbah XC Race #1 Sunday 9th March - how was it?

Good turnout and very Muddy! Some sections were just plain slop ruts
There was some confusion on the first lap at the end of the rollercoaster where the track went, some taking the shortcut down the firetrails others going the shorter version of the lwer section. Also appears a number of riders did the "shortcut" even after the flaggin was fixed up after the first lap. Guess the laptimes will show that.
I heard on the grapevine there were alot of pullouts due to conditions and bikes not handling the mud..
Thumbs up to the organisers for track changes and work towards making the best of the conditions. However one change on the rollercoaster had a sucky ditch that really slowed the momentum
