There are still 5 km's of trail to be built at Paterson however the hardest parts have already been completed. This next build day will be the domain of the whipper snipper/brush cutter. Bring your snipper of choice along with some fuel, some ear muffs and plenty of cord. There are several grassed paddocks which need trail cut through them (similar to the lower paddocks at the 3 hour event).
If you don't have a whipper snipper and can't get your hands on one, there will be plenty of additional tidy up work to complete across some rocky stream crossings and some of the areas which became problems during the three hour race.
Bear in mind that it is difficult to find people on the property if you arrive late since we will be right up the top of the hill. Phone reception up the hill is patchy at best so we will all head up the hill in one group so no-one gets lost.
Meeting at 8 am at the quarry.
Expect works to go for around 4 hours
Bring hat, sunscreen and gloves
