Places to ride with dog SE of Melbourne

Does anyone know of anywhere you can ride with a dog south east of Melbourne. I took my whippet up to my parents (Merrijig near Mt Buller) a couple of weeks ago and took him for a ride in the bush. He loved it, and I'm now hoping there is somewhere to take him nearer where I live (Cranbourne). I don't want to be riding on bitumen, but anything else would be great.

Upper beaconsfeild. If you don't mind walking past the private property sign. I do it often....

That is mostly xc riding with a pretty easy and fun dh track as well

officer scout camp is also good. There aren't many fast sections so they don't have to sprint much
