Problem with my DMR Chieftain cranks

I went to have a ride on my bike today and found that my cranks were creaking a little bit. They are DMR Chieftains and the bottom bracket is really hard to spin. How do i go about freeing them up?
LAst weeks ride was in pouring rain and we were riding through big puddles. I washed the bike down afterwards but i imagine this has something to do with my they aren't that hot today.

Any suggestions?

its proberbly your pedals. 8/10 times you hear a creak down there its you pedals. Just take everyhting out( BB, cranks, pedals) and re grease. Should be working sweet!

yeah i work ina shop but i'm slowly learning how to fix things. I took the cranks off and the BB would barely move. It has heaps of crap jammed in their so i'll take into the shop on Tuesday and dick around with it until i get it working.
