I didn't think it was a prototype, just a Precept 200..

Edit: Never mind, the shock mounts no the downtube, clearly proto...
 
Yeah, looks like they just took the Precept and altered the shock mount placement to allow for longer travel.

Even though it's a concept, I dunno what they were thinking with red on yellow. :puke:
 
Still just a standard 4 bar linkage (Not that there's anything wrong with that), I wonder what advantages this change brings about?
 
Has there been any advances with re: brake jacking or locking up of the rear susspension under braking with the faux bar design these days, or has the pivot location and shocks nowdays improved this so its not noticed?
 
Well we were close on what it was.

Precept 200.

It's probably safe to assume the 200 means 200mm travel.
 
I spotted this bike at Buller on the weekend, sitting on the back of a car at the top of the chairlift. Looks great in person.
