HondaWhich F1 engine supplier powered a double hat-trick of constructors' titles, and five out of those six drivers' titles?
I thought Renault but then after the odd one's reply figured it could be Honda and I was wrong (again). Good question.Trumped at my own question....! I was thinking Renault, who powered 6 on the trot from '92-'97; four doubles with Williams ('92, '93, '96 & '97) and one with Benetton ('95), plus a constructors' with Williams in '94.
But then I did some reading and found Honda achieved the same over the preceding six years.
So @Oddjob, it be your go.
