Yeah, that's pretty damn steep. it needs to be about twice as long, and get steeper towards the end, not immediately.

I think if you dig a bit before the ramp so it makes a smooth shape then it might work..

Had some trouble wording this tell me if it doesnt make sense i wil fix it

that looks like something out of a nasa space launch

Just make it more progressive, instead of having one length of wood then another one steeper up, make it longer and more progressive. If you do that, it wont matter so much if its really steep towards the end.

build a big trench before it sand give it a nice curve so the doesn':t get steep all of a sudden.
