Re ESI Grips for DH/FR

I have bought 2x sets, and used them on a XC hardtail and a trance.

I wouldnt classify them as "chunky".The std would be fairly thin, in that case.... They are comfy and light and haven't twisted around. They arent durable or really suitable for a large hand.

Any grip would work ok for dh,so long as it fits your hand.

Personally, I dont think they are quite as good as what they are made out to be.

The odi rogue is still my fav. For any discipline.

Have used them for a few years on the XC bike. I like them a lot, heaps of grip.
They can on occasion like any grip slip a bit, so personally I don't use them for DH.

I have these grips on my hardtail in the thin version and like them alot, they also haven't moved at all yet!

I am going to try some of the thick ones on the dh bike to see how they go. It would be a good idea to keep a pair of lock-ons in the tool box for wet races just in case they do move or you dont like them for some reason.
