Rear mud guardsfor the frame suspension

Wet weather riding scoops up lotsa dirt which becomes very annoying and can literally ruin your day depending onhow much muck flies up your face. Simple and effective solution is using a front and rear mud guard. Problem is, the rear shock is copping some serious mud and a fast and easy way to get rid of excess weight before packing up the gear before heading home is a quick jump to the river and scrape off the sticky stuff before they harden up. Smaller splashes of mud are more difficult to remove and requires detailed attention to cleaning.

Life could be easier if a specially designed shock guard could be installed.

Does anyone know of such products for a rearsuspension exists?

It will depend on your frame, I believe there are some aftermarket shock guards available.

Though at the end of the day, its probably easier, cheaper and just as effective to Macgyver one out of an old tube.

Failing these two options, you *could* just clean your bike with hose and brush +/- cleaning product.
