if you can source a nude shock then definitely do so. You can make use/maintain the twinlock system of the scotts.
Just make sure you buy one thats identical in size to your current one..... (eye to eye = lengh of the shock and the stroke lenght = how much it moves)
after you get those right... you can just uninstall the old shock, pull out the old spacer/hardware and plug into the new on and ride away
