i have an 05 X0 rear mech that needs a new cage. I have the cage, but cannot figure out how to change it over.
There is a screw that looks to hold the cage on, but when i take it out, the cage wont budge.

Anyone know what to do?

cheers, jamie

I haven't done this before, but I would imagine the cage might be held on a secondary circlip or something. Maybe have a look for one of those.

You have to take off the little stop that stops the cage swinging too far back, once the spring twists the cage far enough around it will just come off. Just remember how the spring goes back in.
