Hey guys, i have recently picked up a very old Ricardo bike to do up and hopefully sell. But I have absolutely no clue about the bike (apart from the fact that its a Ricardo).
If you know anything about the bike, please let me know.
Thanks :)

Probably right but old Aussie bikes are slowly becoming more collectable.

Ricardo was made in Regency Park, Adelaide in the 70's and 80's (ended 1990). After that China under Repco ownership.

Your bike seems around circa 1970's, however it is only a base model and therefore not likely to ever be of much value.

Unless you just want a project, probably best to offload before much time and $ put in.

Check out the "Ricardo appreciation society" thread on the BNA forums. They might help with value.

silentbutdeadly on this forum is a bit of a Ricardo fan (one of the rarest Ricys - Pinnacle).

I also have a bit of a soft spot for the marque, having owned an Elite (my first both new and "serious" bike) back in the 80's.
