riding the railway line from helidon to toowoomba

hey guys,

just looking at different ways to ride from gatton to toowoomba and was just wondering whether there is a track that runs alongside the railway line between helidon and toowoomba?

I believe so, head to i-ride and speak with Sandy, from memory he has done this ride or part there of it at some stage.

You can ride along Lockyers siding road, you follow helidon out via Air Force Rd, a few k's after it takes a major right, theres a left into Lockyers Siding Rd. Its a very well maintained dirt road, with lots of explosives trucks using it i beleive. Use google maps to go from Helidon to Murphy's Ck.
