Item: Hey all. Looking for a road bike that is really cheap or someone is not using and willing to lend out from now until September. The background story is - it is for a dominant Aussie junior DH racer who has made the World Championships long team, performed well at last years world championships, and is a likely top 5 finisher at this years championships.
We are trying to source a road bike for him so he can step up and diversify his training program, especially in the winter months leading up to South Africa's world champs. He has a comprehensive training program and structured team supporting him, but is lacking the road bike for training and the finances to buy one.
So, if anybody has an old one out the back of the shed that won't be used this winter and could go to a better cause, let me know.
I will pay for maintenance and upkeep of the bike and it will be returned to you in better condition than when you leant it out, plus a few slabs of your choice!
