Rockshox Pike 426- removing lowers

G'day, i have asked this question before, i am wondering how to take the lowers off my Pike 426's. I was told a tech site or sram itself, but with no luck. any one who cna tell me how to do this. want them spray painted.

Undo the bolts at the bottom of each leg until they are loose, then tap them with a hammer to separate the internals from the lowers. Make sure you do this over a bucket or something you don't mind getting oily as a whole bunch of oil should spew out when you do this. Lowers should now slide off quite easily.

preferably use a rubber hammer so you dont damage anything. But yes, what he said!

If they don't come off after you do that, take the foot bolts out of the lowers, then screw them in 2-3 turns and hit them in again. Some times you don't undo enough the first time to free the stanchions from the lowers.
