Rubbing brake cables

hey guys . i was jsut wondering if its normal that when you pedal your right crank rubs up against the stray rear brake cable, leading the cable to fray? if this is not normal can you guys give me a solution on how to fix this?

Yeah it happens, and its not to good, just put a crimp on the end of it and it will be fine and try bending it out of the way.

put one of them cover thingos on the end of it and crimp the wires together.
then tuck the cable in with the brake calliper.
only use cable cutters if you want to cut it,
scissors/pliers/grinder/hacksaw/hedge clippers wont work, ive tried.

not really mate. but you dont want to cut it too short cause then its f**king hard to put the brakes on when its short. just bend it away
