Surprised no-one's replied yet. I'm only a noob, but I'll give it a crack at the risk of being called out by someone like moorey or Duckmeister...Hi
Does anyone know where I can get replacement end cap for DT Swiss RW 12x142 Thru Axle?
Lost mine at Bright this weekend.
Cheers
Bit more info for someone to link you to the correct item:
1. What hub is it for e.g. DT Swiss 240S
2. Are you using an XD driver or shimano style freehub ?
Once you advise it will be easy to source the endcaps retail or possibly through a want to buy thread.

If there aren't any 'burners that can help you out from their surplus bits box, try your luck at Pushys or FTR - both advertise 142 x 12 end caps but I think you need to check hub compatibility as well. There are different part numbers for Shimano and XD freehubs; it appears that Pushys and FTR may only have the Shimano version.

If you need the XD driver version, go to ze Germans: bike24.com seems to be super competitive on DT Swiss. https://www.bike24.com/p2156853.html

Dt Swiss hubs use end caps for versatility in axle type. The hub itself stays the same and you simply get the end caps to suit 5mm QR, 10mm or 12mm axles. So if you had a 5mm QR hub to start with and wanted to change to a 142 x 12 axle you'd just have to get a 12mm 'conversion kit' which is comprised of 12mm end caps and a sleeve to go through your hub that suits a 12mm axle. You only need end caps as you're not changing axle sizes, and unfortunately they come in pairs and yes are fairly expensive.Thank you for all of this information.
The thing that is confusing me is they all mention 'adaptors' or 'conversion' and they are incredibly expensive for something that is really just a nut.
Am I missing somehting? other than my end cap ...
