Sam Hill wins Asia Pacific Downhill

Flash Result: Sam Hill wins 2011 Asia Pacific Downhill Challenge.

On a track totally different from Australian or World Cup tracks, Sam Hill has won the Asia Pacific Downhill Challenge. The track took just under three and a half minutes for Sam to ride and consisted of roots, big rock drops and gardens and some decent size jumps. Australians fared well taking three of the top five positions, Troy Brosnan finished 30th. Results are as follows;

3. Popo Ario Sejati

4. Mitch delfs

5. Pornomo

What happened to Troy? I can only assume he had a problem that kid is on fire all the time.

Troy Brosnan said in a tweet that he crashed in his race run - big stack, but no injury.

troy got crashed due to slippery of the track.. but he's fine, and keep smiling during the autograph session, troy,sam,shaun,mitch went to Bali the next day after the race..

well to be honest, this track never dries 100%, weve got some section that always wet because of the contour of the land that surrounded with many roots and pine wood,

thats not a timber, the drop off made from concrete, :biggrin:

It is! My bad! Concrete on downhill trails is great! Timber still sucks though............
