You lost me, are you referencing Duke Nukem?
And yeah, the wooden structures on the track aren't how I'd build them but they haven't fallen down yet so can't really complain...

Oh true, realised that skin suits were banned, but never realised that peak less helmets were...
And the "bibs" are infact neck braces.
