Shimano Deore BR-MT520/BL-MT501 4-Piston Brake

That poor rotor

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve not ever faded the front, but have faded the rear dragging it at 60kph+ for a couple of kms...

160mm rotors look a bit odd on a roadie, but I ran one on the front before. Hoping these callipers mean I can go back to the 140 on the front as well :)

But if a bump on this one...

Is anyone running any tyre of finned pads with the mt520 caliper?

Probably the biggest difference, and the one that will most (but still only slightly) affect power is that the M6000/MT520/MT500 use the standard BH59 hose, where SLX/Zee & above use the BH90 "high-power" hose.

Shimano info pages say the MT520 & M6000 use the BH90 High-power hose, the MT500 uses the BH59 standard hose.

Is anyone running any type of finned pads with the mt520 caliper?

A fin on the outer pad will need to be cut off for it to fit.
