Shimano FD-M770

Looking for an M770 front dérailleur to replace an M970 that has a seized spring. From memory the M770 was dual-pull, but the cable routing on the frame is top-pull if that affects what people have available. Not looking for a BB mount one, just a standard seat tube clamp.

Prefer to use an M770 rather than M771 or M780 as this bike is still on a 9-speed XTR groupset.

Preference is being able to pick one up from someone in Melbourne reasonably soon.

I have an M771 9 speed front derailleur available. Low clamp dual pull, can do it for $25 posted. See here for more info

I've got a brand new in box XT M781 silver if you want? Bought it, then got a 2nd hand XTR front derailleur at the same time and went with that instead. I did use the smaller shims from the box, but otherwise complete. I believe it would work OK with the 9 speed chainring spacing you've got, but I'm not 100% sure.
