Have had this bike since 2014 and the paint was starting to look pretty worn out. Hit it with some paint stripper and various levels of sand paper before polishing it to what you see in the pics. Thinking about going over it again with finer grit sand papers to try and get even more of a shine.

Frame: 2013 commencal Absolut Al long
Fork: Fox 32 float lowered to 100mm with custom NSdynamics air spring.
Bars: nukeproof 38mm rise, 750mm wide.
Stem: commencal 50mm
Cranks: gravity 175mm with a hope 33t chain ring
Pedals: octane one
Saddle: commencal pivotal
Brake: shimano deore wit 6" rotor
Chain: KMC Kool light
Wheels: NS Rotary/mavic ex471 rear. Commencal front
Tyres: kenda small block 8

Waiting on some stealth for decals from slikgraphics to finish the birthday off. Also have an octane one single speed hub on the way with 10t driver so will need to look at my options for running a smaller front chainring. Atm it's either bmx cranks and sprocket or run a 22t inner ring on my current cranks, it really depends on whether I can get the correct chainline with an inner ring.

Comes up a treat.
Upcycled it nicely.
BMX cranks are good for these style bikes.
Son's P2 is running Stolen cranks, which were in the older son's previous Brooklyn Machine Works.
The BMW is a candidate for the same treatment. Heavy as hell though.
