Show me Your Music (Formerly 3 Bands Thread)

^Once punched Jeff Kennett. Don't pick an e-fight
Hahaha @NCR.

In other news, I've been listening to True Live a lot over the last few days. The album is good, I'd maybe like to see them do a release that's a little more laid back and cruisy as I think the band could really pull it off, but it's still a good listen.
And it reminds me of the live show, which was even better.:)
Totally agree man. Top shit right there.

Been diggin some Goyte and Grandmaster lately, and lovin it:cool:

Been digging the new Smashing Pumpkins album.

Some Ol Dirty Bastard and some Wu-Tang to go with it

Also cracked out some old Knife albums.

My music taste is pretty broad. Don't think I have an identity crisis.....I just like my music.

Did you hear PWD's new song 'boneyards' on JJJ last night?

I can send you a recording of it if you like if you missed it, or if you just want it.

One band I am loving right now is an oldie but a goodie.

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.

The first three albums with Ronnie James Dio on vocals absolutely slay but the pick of the bunch would be Rainbow Rising.

Awesome band that contributed so much to Heavy Metal as we now know it.

I fail to see how any of those are "Hardcore classics"

Of late:
-Kool Keith / Dr Octagon etc
-ILL - Sydney Hardcore, good beyond belief, go see them on the 25th
-Regulations - Just listened to their CD again, great LA style early 80's hardcore.

"Like Drawing Blood" is one of my favourite albums, should have got the J award last year IMHO.

I'm hanging out to see if Mixed Blood is any good; I love Kanivool's take on The Only Way, but I heard the remix of "Puzzle With a Piece Missing" and wasn't impressed at all; it's my favourite song off the album and the remix just totally lost the punch in that big bass line.

Wish For Wings (Super rad)

Himsa (Ultra radical)

All Shall Perish (Totally tubular)

New PWD CD should be sick. Heard a few songs from it, got Boneyards, sounds awsome, and heard another one or two live. Going to kill their old album.
But the others im enjoying at the moment would beeeee

The Agony Scene (Always good. New CD should be awsome aswell)

As I Lay Dying (Wanting to hear their new CD, should be leet)

August Burns Red

The Black Dahlia Murder
