Single ring chain guide noise??

Hi Guys

I am running a single ring 1 x 10 setup on my Enduro with a XT clutch derailleur with no chain device. I have started losing the chain when in the smaller cogs on the cassette and am thinking I need a top guide. I love a quiet bike so do you guys have any ideas on which guide is the quietest or any tricks to deaden the noise?

Cheers

Are you running a longer toothed chainring, like the ethriteen guide ring? Also double check the chain length. An xc guide won't do too much for the noise.

I have the E.Thirteen XCX guide on my Blur. It contacts in the bottom three cogs of the cassette, but you can't hear it when you are on the bike.

I run a widgit on my stumpy with an XT RD with a clutch, never drop a chain and you wont find any quieter. Howver, not designed to take hard hits but if you rarely strike the chainring I don't reckon there is any better.

Cheers
