Half link chairns are generally 1/8", as opposed to 3/32nds, meaning you have to run BMX rings.

Are there any 3/32nds halflink chains?

You can get half links in both sizes, but the issue is the kind of dropouts (or ends), not the chain size. This thread has links just for that kind of question in the original post.

yeah i realised after i asked that question that the chain length would probably be a problem...was hoping the tensioner might be able to take in the slack but i guess not
