Just moved to a new house which is 430m up the Mountain. Have to drop to sea level in 6km to get to work. Getting home is less good, but I pass a pub 3 minutes from the house.

Could you explain to a newbie the wild differences in sizes?
From a Medium to a XL.
Are they all good to ride for your size?
Is there too much emphasis on bike size?
Larger bikes are fine to ride for smaller people etc?

I'm 6'1" and generally favour a large. The Sultan is my long range trail 29er and suits that style as I don't need it to be quite as 'chuckable'. The DHR is a Medium, but has a decent TT length and a super raked seat angle. The On-One was cheap. The Yeti is my wifes.
