Sneaky peek - new Mavic wheels

Can't wait. I inquired with the Oz distributor when I got my 29er and he said to me hopefully some time this year lol.

Under 1200g and stiffer than the usual suspects I'l be getting a set in lefty!
 
you may be disappointed.. the 26 carbon spoked versions actual weight is 1270g and was too expensive to be competitive to the consumer... the new ones may be bit lighter but not much. The big advantage to a some XCO race teams (ie non factory who build and rebuild their own wheels) is they are ultra strong/stiff. There are plenty of wheels lighter but they have to be rebuilt too often.
