Looks doubtful man. I think it may have been VH pulling out that caused the cancellation.

It was limp bizkit.

The guy has done his arse big time on this one so don't expect any "make up" shows to be cheap.
I'm happy it's fallen through. AJ is an absolute dick who conducts his business in a totally unprofessional way and gives zero support to local scenes.

When you don't want to pay $200 to see 3 bands, paying $80 looks much more appealing.

Not all true dude, I cant comment on what Aj is like personally, but all dealings I have had with him in the past have been pretty professional, and a nice enough bloke..
Soundwave was never marketed as a local festival, it has always been about getting international acts over, but that being said there have always had local acts opening on all stages, and in 2009 Carpathian played the tour, and the last festival just gone Amity also toured.

More dissappointed that I won't get to see Steel Panther or Alter Bridge.

On the upside ( for me ) it free's up the particular weekend for me to go a 6 day Harley ride with my mates
