A bit late to be advertising this but with the weather being as fickle as it has been, it was not a sure thing until the 48 hour forecast became relevant.
SCUM will be hosting their final XC race of 2010 at the Coondoo track tomorrow (21st November). The reason I post is that a heap of work has been done to the track and it is literally in the best condition it has been in for a long time. In the last 2 years it has been the victim of fire, drought and lately flood and it has come up a pearler after some drainage issue being sorted and several months of leaf litter being removed.
If you are within striking distance of Nowra and are wondering how to spend your Sunday morning, give this race some consideration. The weather should be ideal, the trails is in top condition and the club still only charges a $5.00 race entry fee for MTBA members. A BBQ and cold drinks will be provided from around 11am.
