What's with all the spam flooding the forum? Can't the admins stop it?

You get spam everywhere, unless you have crazy sign up procedures, which then people complain about. The mods do a pretty good job of getting rid of it, it is usually locked pretty quick and gotten rid of soon after. This place has far less spam than many other forums.
