:woot:Further progress tonight with bleeding, now running on my hand dyno with no noises. We have arrived I believe. Might get it onto the bike tomorrow night.
Nice one, I love your test rig, very clever indeed.

Lets hope I don't get stuck miles from home with a failed o ring and end up in fuckwits thread.Link, this is an epic thread, I would have burnt the thing by now. Looking forward to you taking it for a ride.
crude but it works. Puts bleed port at the heighest point.:woot:

Thank you sir, I do feel accomplished. It's been a long journey. Hopefully the fork cartridge isn't as time consuming.Congratulations on your success :thumb:
This^^^^- I'm in awe of your skills and patienceCongratulations on your success :thumb:
Remove the reflector!
Congrats on completing an excellent journey and for sharing the details.
I too have suffered reflector induced harassment, stay strong (and visible).
Well done on the rebuild, me thinks you may get busy from here on!Thanks. It's a long running game with hifiandmtb. If I ever rebuild his fork for him I think I might hot glue a dozen reflectors to it
Thank you sir.Awesome effort Link. :clap2::clap2::clap2:much respect.
made it to lysterfield, did a full lap and home, no dramas.250 psi for the IFP feels more like a new shock should. I've had a ride around the neighbourhood, now to do a full lap of Lysterfield. If anyone sees an epic being pushed and not ridden, stop and say hi.
repsol 10wt mineral oil 46@40c, 8@100c feels good.
Fork cartridge does look easier but I still need to make shaft clamps to clamp it in the vice and undo assemblies. I've drawings showing IFP depth and pressure so no guessing, and I have a nitrogen needle, plus the full rebuild video is available on Vimeo. Hoping to get started early in the am on it, already in bed, I'm stuffed.Awesome stuff man! glad you got it on the bike and working!
Was cool to follow the thread and dream!
I have heard the brain cartridge in the fork isnt as time consuming, as long as you know what you are doing! so good luck!
