What difference does it make if you get a different size spindle does this mean if you get one that is bigger it wont fit

Hey, hows it going? Ok, good.

Do you mean width? or length? What kind of BB and cranks are you referring to here? You need to give us much more info, what your problem actually is and what gear you have ... because anyone can tell you that yes: something too big wont fit in something that isnt that big.

Ok mate there is generally to sizes.

22mm which is like wombolt primo power bites.

19mm which is like profile stolen

With both sizes you have to run a matched bottom bracket. 22mm is not as good if you have a euro BB as the bearings are smaller therefore not as strong.

This is all I know let me know and i will help more if possible.

yep if you have 19mm crank arms you need 19mm bb and spindle 22 wont work. same goes with 22 mm crank arms. 19mm wont work.

but if you mean 6" as apposed to 5.75" that is just width. it depends on how wide your bb/ chainstays are. i needed a 6" because my chainstays are pretty wide and to get clearance so my crankarm didn't hit the chainstay there wasn't enough spindle in my crank arm for it to bite and work properly so i needed a wider spindle.

hope that made sense.
