I read an article in the Manly Daily saying the cops picked up a dude riding a stolen mountain bike (no detail or description). So if you had your bike stolen somewhere in the Northern Beaches it would be worth a call Manly Police on 9977-9499.
There was also a couple of busts, one in Brooky and one in Manly Vale industrial units where they picked up a whole bunch of stolen gear including mountain bikes so once again probably worth a call to the Manly police.
Good luck to anyone chasing a stolen bike and it's good to see the cops are making use of their time for something decent rather than booking people for minor speeding offences or should I say, revenue raising.
