Stonefly @ Mt Buller needs some extra hands.

In early July, the Mt Buller and Mt Stirling area was subjected to a severe ice-storm collapsing thousands of trees across this vast area. Recent trips to survey the damage have reported severe windfall and damage to Stonefly our iconic XC loop from Howqua Gap to Mt Stirling and return.
The Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board is seeking interest from volunteers happy to lend a hand in assisting the outdoor crew in this clean up.
If you are keen to help please contact Ben Annear on 03 5777 6077 or via email on ben.annear@mtbuller.com.au

It might seem like a stretch, but given the distance from Mt Buller to those who wish to volunteer, you might be able to get a group together to go up for a full weekend if they were to provide overnight accommodation for a Saturday/Sunday to those volunteers going up.
Something resort management could consider anyway. If people knew this was available, you'll likely get a few throw their hands up.
