so im heading overseas and wont be using my bike for 3+ months. is it fine to just leave it in the garage?
i live near the water, will the salt/rust be an issue?

when i come back, is it fine to just pump the tyres up and ride?
do seals and stuff dry out?

Clean (wash) your bike, and then lube it like your about to race it.

It will be fine for 3 months.

Leave shock pressures as normal, maybe put 40psi in the tyres.

Should all be good when you get home. Have done a few extended work trips away and left bikes behind.

Never has an issue,,,,,,

To pretty much combine everyone elses answer, this is what I would do
:distrust:
* Wash it (get rid of contaminants/ anything that will accelerate any oxides forming/ trap moisture)
* When completely dry, Lube necessary parts.
* Take inside instead of garage, cover in blanket.

3 months though you'll probably be fine in the garage!

Maybe turn it upside down to keep oil on the fork seals.
Or maybe put it in your bed, so it really knows it's loved.
