I just googled the geo and the specs on these things. It seems all sizes come with a 40mm stem (super short already), and the difference in the top tube lengths between the medium and the large is 31mm (a fair whack when you consider the 40mm stem).

Cheers for the replies, yeah the stem is hella short, I can get an onof 30mm stem (mondrakers use them and have similar geo) and might do it. If I have to live with the large its not the end of the world, it's probably gonna be a large with the seat jammed all the way forward or a medium with the seat pushed back a bit anyway. Just thought ide put it out there and see what happens. Either way I test rode a heap of bikes and the konas for me were the most fun mtb's I have ridden, if anyone's considering buying one ide recommend it. just check the size first!
